Taylor Makes His Choice

Williamstown (NJ) Senior High School defensive end Jullian Taylor has committed to Massachusetts following an official visit this past weekend.

Massachusetts has accepted the commitment of Jullian Taylor, out of Williamstown (NJ) Senior High School. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound, defensive end made his commitment after visiting last weekend.

"I have committed to UMASS," Taylor stated Monday night. "I visited there last weekend on an official visit, and loved everything. It was my first time being there and it was a beautiful campus, and it felt like home to me. The coaching staff was very upfront and trustworthy, and the opportunity to play with a young team is great."

"They are recruiting me as a defensive end, and there is a chance I could play early," he added. "They want me to report at 250-pounds, and we will see how it goes. If I have to redshirt, that would be fine with me. I plan on majoring in business, and possibly going on to law school after graduation."

Taylor becomes the 18th commitment to the 2013 Massachusetts class. He was also receiving interest from Rutgers and Temple.
